
What is considered yard waste??
Yard waste includes leaves, grass, and pine needles only.
Note: All branches, garden trimmings, or tree trimmings should be placed with your regular garbage.
All branches, per the city ordinance, have to be 5 ft in length or shorter and must be bundled with rope or twine for the haulers to be able to pick up.

Choose From a Variety of Pickup Options- (Picked up on Wednesday mornings)
- Full-season pickup from April 1st to November 30th( this includes a yard waste can)
- Spring yard waste pickup (April and May)
- Fall yard waste pickup (October and November)
- One-time pickup-you can put out 10 bags for $8.50

Follow the City's Yard Waste Regulations
In the City of Lincoln, all leaves, grass, and pine needles must be separated from regular household garbage from April 1st to November 30th. Place all yard waste in brown paper bags or in cans, but not in plastic trash bags.
Yard waste will be picked up on Wednesday mornings for all routes.
